Sxrap4800 "Static⚡️" Video
Back at it this week, Sxrap4800 releases visuals for his
latest single titled "Static⚡️." Be on the lookout for ‘Zone4800’
Pt. 3 coming soon.
No quarantine or pandemic can hold the crowned Chicago
King down or come for his reign. “Static” is a rough reminder of that. The ominous
cadences and thumping bass heighten the ‘static’ and invite toadyish rappers to
leap for a challenge; one they will come out waving a tarnished white flag. Watch

Slum Village's Young RJ drops visual for “Issues” ft BJ The Chicago Kid
Continuing with his well-received solo project, Slum Village's Young RJ prepares fans for his new single, “Issues.” Issues is a creative collaboration between artists that share a similar artistry and background. Young RJ delivers thought-provoking lyrics with BJ the Chicago Kid finessing the track with his soulful vocals. The single was produced by Young RJ and Detroit's emerging producer, DAG.
Issues comes after, “Wait”, his popular track with Boldy James and Pete Rock that premiered on Mass Appeal. Young RJ is setting the bar high amongst his rap peers by linking up with unique artists in the game and creating a new wave that's undeniable.
Previously, Young RJ and BJ the Chicago Kid worked together on “Expressive”, a single off Slum's album, “YES”. Linking up again on “Issues”, their lyrics paint a picture of our current political climate, inner cities, and of course... personal inner demons.
“Issues” is the third single from his debut solo album, "Blaq RoyalT" which is slated for an October 10, 2017, release.

Ayoo Cheveyo - "Comeupits" @AyooCheveyo (Album)
Unbeknownst to most, the music scene out of Chicago contains way more than just rapid fire rhymes and Drill. The underground Hip Hop scene has been flourishing for years and only continues to grow. One of those artists emerging from within goes by the name of Ayoo Cheveyo. He just recently released the second installment of the four-part "Ayoo Cheveyo Presents" series.
The concept all brewed from a screen play he wrote prior to the idea. The album contains a whopping nineteen songs in total with standout cuts "The Block Forgot Him Longer" and "Rock Ya' Body". For "Comeupits", Cheveyo paints true life scenarios inspired by his move from Chicago to Madison. We find him coming to terms with people and things he left behind there as well. Hip Hop heads and smokers will especially take a liking to Ayoo due in part to his easy going flow and airy production selections. Check it out for yourself and feel free to download a free copy of "Comeupits" afterward.

@wavegangkidvibe Ft Red & @king_tazer - "Relax" (Shot By @AWashington__)
In anticipation of his upcoming EP arriving on December 20th, Madison emcee Kid Vibe leaks out an A. Wash visual alongside Red and King Tazer urging viewers to kick back, subtract the drama and "Relax". An obvious smoker anthem, Kid and company offer up reefer infused lyricism with a splash of braggadocios swag. The Midwest connection is really felt by Vibe linking with Chicago video director, Arrisa Washington. She is able to bring the chilled vibe to the big screen while using red light filters and soft animated edits.
"Relax" is a great introduction to those unfamiliar to Kid Vibe and the Wave Gang collective. Producers Vibez & Vela utilize a live-sounding drum arrangement over keys layered with horns and choral samples. Sit back, roll up, press play and just "Relax" to the melody as presented by Kid Vibe.

@MCCleverOne - "Wild Seed" (Album)
Known for crushing mics with precision lyricism alongside his fellow brethren 7oddz, Chicago emcee Clever One presents his fourteen track sophomore album, "Wild Seed". The Chi-City emcee has already contributed bars to three group releases this year such as "Out For Blood Vol 3: Chapter 1 & 2" and "Old Fashioned Hip Hop". On "Wild Seed", the guest features are at a minimum and production is handled by 7oddz founder DreamTek and squad member, Save One.
We hear Clever One spit much-needed knowledge on tracks like "We All Know" and "Open Eyelids" while also being treated to some righteous Hip Hop tracks such as the M.O.P. sampled "The Business" and the DreamTek featured, "Villianz". Listen to and purchase the whole album below.

(Video)-@MCCleverOne "Who's This?" Produced By @TekTheTerrible
Notoriously known for putting in groundwork with his fellow crew Seven Oddities Records, seasoned emcee Clever One answers the burning question of "Who's This?" on the debut visual featured on his sophomore LP, "Wild Seed". With 7oddz kingpin Dreamtek on the production, you should only expect pure unadulterated Chicago Hip Hop from start to end.
What's special about the video is that both Clever and Tek put it together, as they utilize Clev's childhood neighborhood and their stomping grounds of Logan Square into the mix. Doing so furthers the concept behind the introduction based release. The fourteen track album, "Wild Seed" is also now available via Bandcamp and bolsters guest features from 7oddz members PozLyrix, Save One and Dreamtek. (Video)-@7oddz Killing Machines
Continuing strong with their #YearOfTheOddz campaign is Chicago powerhouse imprint Seven Oddities Records with the second visual release from their "Out For Blood Vol. 3 (Chapter 2)" album where we witness crew member's Roy Hobes, Billie Dee Boodah & SaveOne transform into lyrical "Killing Machines". As with the initial video single "Standing On The Edge", 7oddz continues their avante garde approach. Vintage video reel edits are used alongside an animated, graffiti laced backdrop. We haven't really gotten an opportunity to hear much from these particular emcees on the OFB series, so it was a wise decision to put this single under the lens. "Killing Machines" can be viewed below.

(New Album)-@7oddz "Out For Blood Vol 3 (Chapter 2)"
Seven Oddities Records debuts the next release in their four part album series with "Out For Blood Vol. 3 (Chapter 2)" and this one is strictly for the hardcore hip hop fans. Eleven recordings featuring the entire crew running thru an array of grimy production provided by label founder, DreamTek. Fans of legendary acts such as Wu-Tang, M.O.P. and Boot Camp Clik will be in an uproar upon hearing standout songs like "Murder By Committee", "Seven Strikes" and "Natural Disaster".
Just by reading over the tracklisting, you'll quickly catch thoughts of mics being chocked out and pen tips being bled to death over paper pages. It's that type of precision lyricism that has catapulted this committee to the upper echelon of the underground Chicago Hip Hop scene. It ain't hard to tell that when it comes to this music scene, 7oddz is truly out for blood. The album is available to stream and purchase below.

(New Video)-@7oddz "Standing On The Edge"
The process in which Chicago, Illinois crew 7oddz can churn out album after album is phenomenal. With that said, the Oddz premiere the debut video single where we find Tony Patagonia, DreamTek and SaveOne "Standing On The Edge" ready to test whosoever even bats their eyes improperly.
