NY's Steven Darnell Is "The Rise Of Steelo Green"

CEO of New Perspective Music Group and eclectic rapper Steven Darnell releases highly anticipated “The Rise of Steelo Green” mixtape. The 10-track project includes production from Black Metaphor, Beat Menace, and Osym Beats just to name a few.

Darnell is an Alabama native currently residing in New York City. “The Rise of Steelo Green” epitomizes his youth, come up, and rise to fame. Darnell delivers ingenious doses of storytelling and tight lyricism that entices listeners in for his rhymed laced autobiography.

In “Breakfast”, the first track, Darnell introduces himself and declares rapping as his religion. Through witty punchlines he describes some bad decisions as well as prominent societal issues. “Survival Mode” piggybacks off that rack and delves in a bit deeper, “In this white man’s world I flow like Frederick Douglas.” He started out at age 15 with Pac on repeat and over 10 years mastered his craft, “immaculate conception my flow heaven sent.”

“God Bless” speaks to the supporters and the haters. Although he’s been thrown to the wolves, the arduous rhyme slayer returns with fur; simply put Darnell is The Golden Child of rap.

“Don’t Be Mad”, “Learn Something”, and “Real Hip Hop” are raw, hair-raising tracks. Darnell embodies his youth from poster collaged walls of the greats, and hours and miles of hustling his music tapes to hand me downs, free lunch, and an open oven door heated home. Do take heed, and ‘learn something’ because it’s through all this Darnell’s spazzed out freestyle on Sway has doubters stuck and fumbled both on court and curbside.

Darnell pays homage to Hip Hop pioneers along with the culture, but he also delivers some heat for the new generation of fans like “Cost of Trill” and “Bartian.” These southern anthems are ideal for popping bottles in the club, ‘straight from the south ready to blow.”

“Cathedral” and “Georgia’s Son” embrace Darnell’s love for music and rhymes. He entails that vision of penning every new chapter in his life through his polished, vivid lyrics.

“The Rise of Steelo Green” is brimming with classic boom bap beats, rendered soulful tones, and thundering bass that intensifies the emotion spewed from Darnell on each autobiographical track. Stream the mixtape above and follow Darnell below.

Bianca Clarke is an American singer, songwriter, and rapper, born in Mobile, Alabama. She started her career in 2014, releasing her debut mixtape Triple Threat. Bianca Clarke gained recognition after several electric performances, well-received musical projects, and being the recipient of a total of 12 awards, given to her at four separate Alabama Music Award shows. Bianca always knew music was her calling and started honing her skills by singing in her local church’s choir. As a result of her love for all things music, she naturally started writing poems and her own songs. Throughout her youth, Bianca continued to listen to great artist such as Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, and Lil Wayne, which helped her to further understand the makings of a hit record. After graduating high school, Bianca decided she wanted to round out her musical skills by merging her natural talent with a formal education in the art of music.

In 2012, Bianca starting attending the Art Institute of Atlanta, where she studied music production and sound engineering. Quickly making a name for herself around the campus and amongst the audiophiles, Bianca decided it was time to put her life-long passion and skills to the test and pursue music 100%, as a professional recording artist. After just two years at the Art Institute of Atlanta, Bianca independently released Triple Threat, and instantly made a name for herself. Her record “Tattoo,” which was featured on the project, caught the ear of the music director at the Cumulus-owned radio station, 93BLX, in Mobile, Alabama, and was instantly added into rotation. With her record blasting on the airwaves and her name buzzing in the city, Bianca began to garner even more exposure, as she was labeled the “Rising Queen of Mobile” by the Alabama Register.

To follow up the success of her debut mixtape, Bianca headed back into the studio, to work on her next project, “Direct Message,” which she dropped in October of 2015. The release was met with high praise and once again became a local favorite receiving more acclaim than her previous release. Direct Message was teeming with hits, with two in particular, “Queen” and “Neva Know,” becoming instant street anthems and mainstays on Mobile’s own, 93BLX. The success of this release bolstered Bianca’s career and played a huge part in her being the exclusive opening act for female rap sensation, Dej Loaf, when she put on a show at the Soul Kitchen, in Mobile, AL. Bianca’s stage presence and energy caught the eye of Dollah Dae, owner of Splash Life Booking, who ended up signing Bianca to a booking agreement and giving her a major platform to showcase her one-of-kind talent.

This magical partnership has afforded Bianca to open up for some of the game's hottest stars like Chanel West Coast, Gucci Mane, and Boosie. In addition to single performances, Bianca was also the featured opening act during a 7-city tour run, headlined by female Hip-Hop legend, Trina. During a sold out show in Florida, Trina personally co-signed Bianca on stage and the two have since completed a few records, set to be released in the Fall of 2016.

Bianca is currently touring with Young Money Artists Baby E & Chanel West, while simultaneously recording new songs. Her motivation for making music remains to be life in general, the ups the downs, the pain, the struggle, the joy, the love & her family.

[NEW SINGLE] - .@Snap251 Wants to Know are You "Cuttin or What?"

Snap sitting on the edge of a bed with a lady laying behind him

Courtney “SNAP" Burrell was born January 14, 1989 in Mobile,AL. As a teenager, “SNAP” had dreams of becoming an NBA player, however, it would seem that his musical gifts would soon take over and force him into another direction.

At the age of 14, Snap met a producer named Kim(Young Schiz). After receiving his first instrumental cd, and using old DJ equipment from his mom, “SNAP" began writing and recording on cassette tapes. Shortly after, Snap formed a group called "The Campboyz". By age 16, “SNAP" went solo and had recorded in various of studios, performed live at my local and regional events and released several mix tapes. Although he was young, many established artists and DJs in the Greater Mobile and Gulf Coast area began to take notice of this energetic, lyrically diverse, young artist taking over the music scene.

The next few years of  Snap’s career would come with great challenges and obstacles. Through adversity, "SNAP" matured as a young man, a songwriter, an artist and all around performer. His determination and work ethic would ultimately keep his brand alive in the music scene. "SNAP" has established himself as a force to be reckoned with and contends that his music is a mere reflection of his upbringing, lifestyle and day to day experiences. His first notable single was “MODEL WALK” produced and engineered by a Mobile pioneer named Ronald “Ron G” Suggs, Jr. Ron G took a serious interest in the young, up and coming artist and has since produced and engineered several records that have been played in nightclubs all around Mobile and has also been played on 93 BLX.

His new singles “Club Rockin’ and “Cuttin or Wut” catapulted his grind and proved that he can consistently release hot records with mass appeal.  Often compared to Platinum recording artist and Hip Hop icon “Lil Boosie” (in sound), ”SNAP" remains true to himself, his brand and his music.
