Mic Mountain's 'Piragua' EP & Video

 

Mic Mountain defines his latest EP 'Piragua' as a musical celebration of culture and life, that's presented in eight different styles. 'Piragua' is an audio and visual celebration of the Afro-Latino emcee/producer's life. He combines a variety of beats with stories of his past, his Puerto Rican heritage, his dreams, along with plans for the future.

 

Tracks like "Mire Loco” feature a southern vibe as Mic expresses his views on the current state of government. The song also features an animated music video that Mic created and directed himself. "Peligroso" is a track that tells Mic’s story of growing up alone looking for his family, to his time in jail, and how he went from relying on street hustles to relying on God. Rome Streetz Releases Last Installment Of "Noise Kandy"

Elite NY MC, Rome Streetz, is known throughout the boroughs and worldwide for delivering new age NY Hip Hop with a 'golden era' vibe, and such is the case with the release of his "Noise Kandy" installments.

Streetz offers Volume 3 as a form of lyrical exercise brimming with raw raps. Ready to drop the final installment with guns blazing, the seasoned emcee wrote all 11 verses within a week’s time, and enlisted other heavy hitters including Planet Asia, Bubba Rock, and legendary Statik Selektah, just to name a few.

The EP embodies raw NY Hip Hop through gritty lyricism, tight bars, and clever wordplay. Streetz tales include spitting on industry puppets, success, violators, street ethics, and of course surviving the concrete jungle. Production encases the perfect mix of knocking beats, soulful undertones, suspenseful cadences, along with 'mirror shaking' and 'car thumping' bass that heightens the rawness spewed from Streetz.

Alec Bolen - Rosewater (EP) @AlenBolec

Oregon emcee Alec Bolen's "Rosewater" EP was a full year in the making. The concept behind the project follows the story of a young man who meets and falls in love with a girl. The record then proceeds to go through the different phases of their relationship. Alec displays the sides of relationships that the ego exaggerates such as love, lust and infatuation. Bolen's creative process for the album was a bit unorthodox but a formula the budding lyricist fares quite well doing. The EP title, tracklisting and all beats were selected prior to the writing of it. The instrumentals selected are all in the ultra chilled lane. "Rosewater" is an album that caters to both Hip Hop enthusiasts and couples. Brud Giles recorded and mixed the project at Fremont Recording and Dana White from Specialized Mastering mastered everything.

"This album has been an elevating experience for me in every aspect for me as an artist. From song-writing to branding, this record is my first official release tha'ts mine and that, from me, is a statement saying “I’m here”. Seven tracks in total and containing the lead single "Autumn to Winter", Alec Bolen strays from the over-saturated turn up type of music. His laid back voice lays well over the beats choices. Kidd Adamz Releases EP "Summer Camp Steelo"

The EP is bright and festive, including egos and attitudes. The EP takes you on a trip of the hard and great times of the summer, a season that attracts everyone with high energy. Kidd snagged a few features for the EP including Billy Blue, Steph Lecor and Nenah Blaque (from the emerging group, The Stepsisters).

Kidd Adamz has been penned the "Joey Badass" of Miami. With Kodak Black and Zoey Dollaz on the rise in Miami, he's capturing a different audience with his unique sound. Adamz hails from the infamous Miami Gardens, where he grew up listening to Trick Daddy, JT Money, Rick Ross, Billy Blue and Slim Deisel. Around the age of 12, Adamz seriously started writing and producing, focused on improving his music skills. At 22, he's had 10 years to perfect his craft and is ready to share it with the world.

@LesterSanchezMusic Drops "Mental Notes" EP

After building the buzz with singles like "Let Love Grow" and "New Phone Who Dis?" Lester Sanchez is ready to show and prove with his "Mental Notes" EP. The project see's Lester as honest as ever, using each track as a "mental note" documenting his lust, love, trust issues and more. @tweezedoitez - "Parallel Universes" (EP)

North Carolina's Tweeze aka Twee-ze follows up his previously released "Who Cares" project with the eight track EP, "Parallel Universes". The album features the breakout hit, "Carolina Schemin'", a collab effort with Soul singer, CandaceK. For those unfamiliar to Tweeze's discography, his unique vocal tone consists of a distinct southern drawl full of a variety of harmonies.

He has a very chilled, laid back sound that will appeal to smokers and Hip Hop heads alike. Check songs like "Forest Fires" and "Hermetic Dreams" for prime examples to that statement. The theme behind this particular project is a parallel universe version of Tweeze, think of Jet Li's "The One" movie for a better visual understanding. @CrownDante "Party at a Funeral/One Thing"

New York femcee Danté Lennon goes above and beyond with a dual effort release with her eight track EP "Party at a Funeral" as well as an extremely cinematic video for the track, "One Thing". The Brooklyn bad girl puts it all on the line for her EP release, which is available on both Apple Music and Soundcloud. Don't go stereotyping Dante either, as she presents head nodding, Hip Hop hits such as "Evel", the title track and "Fin" while providing commercial releases such as "One Thing" and "No Emotion". The EP also features guest appearances from PremeDaPrez, D.R.U.G. and Deacon.


The latter half of the double release is the vividly directed video for "One Thing". Boats, ballerinas, flames, shipping yards and a smashed television set are just a few factors that make Dante's video standout so well. The video serves as a conceptual piece that meshes creativity along with her raunchy street wits. "One Thing" is for sure, the Brooklyn misses isn't worried about money, as evident in the visual. Portland rhyme trio Cloud9Krew unleash their latest work of art where listeners are taken on "A Flight On Cloud9". (New EP)-@alexanderjaytv "Redemption"

After the release of the riveting video for the title track, Wisconsin-bred artist/ videographer Alexander Jay combines forces with music producer Dylan Finley for a Hip N Roll mash-up on the "Redemption" EP. Consisting of three songs, listeners can submerge themselves in heavy Rock guitars and drums full of Jay's emotionally driven content on songs titled "Coming Home" and "House of Blues". Collective Int’l Campaign have returned with their artist Louie&Friends who is sure to wake some folks up with this EP.
