Ayoo Cheveyo - "Comeupits" @AyooCheveyo (Album)
Unbeknownst to most, the music scene out of Chicago contains way more than just rapid fire rhymes and Drill. The underground Hip Hop scene has been flourishing for years and only continues to grow. One of those artists emerging from within goes by the name of Ayoo Cheveyo. He just recently released the second installment of the four-part "Ayoo Cheveyo Presents" series.
The concept all brewed from a screen play he wrote prior to the idea. The album contains a whopping nineteen songs in total with standout cuts "The Block Forgot Him Longer" and "Rock Ya' Body". For "Comeupits", Cheveyo paints true life scenarios inspired by his move from Chicago to Madison. We find him coming to terms with people and things he left behind there as well. Hip Hop heads and smokers will especially take a liking to Ayoo due in part to his easy going flow and airy production selections. Check it out for yourself and feel free to download a free copy of "Comeupits" afterward.

@wavegangkidvibe Ft Red & @king_tazer - "Relax" (Shot By @AWashington__)
In anticipation of his upcoming EP arriving on December 20th, Madison emcee Kid Vibe leaks out an A. Wash visual alongside Red and King Tazer urging viewers to kick back, subtract the drama and "Relax". An obvious smoker anthem, Kid and company offer up reefer infused lyricism with a splash of braggadocios swag. The Midwest connection is really felt by Vibe linking with Chicago video director, Arrisa Washington. She is able to bring the chilled vibe to the big screen while using red light filters and soft animated edits.
"Relax" is a great introduction to those unfamiliar to Kid Vibe and the Wave Gang collective. Producers Vibez & Vela utilize a live-sounding drum arrangement over keys layered with horns and choral samples. Sit back, roll up, press play and just "Relax" to the melody as presented by Kid Vibe.

@TheDirty6Thirty - "Shawty Duwop" (Audio)
The Dirty 6 Thirty mesh club sounds with clever word play on their lead off single, "Shawty Duwop". What first started off as a party fueled night for the squad later turned into an intense cypher session. That's what lead up to the starting point for the recording of this 905 Productions produced hit. The term "Shawty Duwop" carries many meanings behind it such as a slang word for acid or for whenever you're on your grind, handling business. The release shows that artists Chris Hasty and Damien Prophet can quickly churn out addictive records. It also shows their ability to work off each other's energy. "Shawty Duwop" will be featured on their upcoming album entitled "BUCK". Listen and purchase the single below.

(Video)-@MCCleverOne "Who's This?" Produced By @TekTheTerrible
Notoriously known for putting in groundwork with his fellow crew Seven Oddities Records, seasoned emcee Clever One answers the burning question of "Who's This?" on the debut visual featured on his sophomore LP, "Wild Seed". With 7oddz kingpin Dreamtek on the production, you should only expect pure unadulterated Chicago Hip Hop from start to end.
What's special about the video is that both Clever and Tek put it together, as they utilize Clev's childhood neighborhood and their stomping grounds of Logan Square into the mix. Doing so furthers the concept behind the introduction based release. The fourteen track album, "Wild Seed" is also now available via Bandcamp and bolsters guest features from 7oddz members PozLyrix, Save One and Dreamtek. As with the initial video single "Standing On The Edge", 7oddz continues their avante garde approach. Vintage video reel edits are used alongside an animated, graffiti laced backdrop. We haven't really gotten an opportunity to hear much from these particular emcees on the OFB series, so it was a wise decision to put this single under the lens.
