Teck-Zilla Feat. Phlow "Go Hard" @teckzilla108

teck-zilla-feat-phlow-go-hard-video

It’s a celebration of Hip-Hop culture in the energetic video for “Go Hard,” the brand-new single from Nigerian producer Teck-Zilla and his frequent collaborator, the inimitable Phlow.

These two Str8Buttah artists have been dropping some serious heat over the past several years, and their work together only seems to get stronger with each subsequent release. Not only that, but they’re capable of switching up their styles while retaining what makes their music so damn dope in the first place: unquestionable talent paired with distinctive style.

It’s all on display in the “Go Hard” video shot by themythcreate, and edited by fellow Str8Buttah member Rcube, who blends visuals that were shot on location in Lagos, Nigeria during this year’s RedBull-sponsored “Battle Of The Year” for breakdancers. As the b-boys kill it on stage, Phlow flaunts her skills on the mic over Teck’s boisterous production that features a crazy flip on the chorus.

Teck-Zilla is currently working on new projects and will be live in Ibiza, Spain( alongside famed South African House DJ, Black Coffee (who produced Drake's Get it together). Phlow is currently preparing her debut "Flux" after taking time off to work with the Hennessy VS Class 2017 rap auditions as a judge.

@Phlowetry "Phlowetic Justice" prod by @teckzilla108 (Audio)

Lagos Nigeria born MC, Phlow goes for the jugular on her latest venture. A one off track titled "Phlowetic Justice" which is a play on Kendrick Lamar's Poetic Justice. Far from being a cover and more of using K-dot's song as inspiration, Phlow uses similar backdrops(The same Janet Jackson sample and a portion of K dot's song) to accentuate her commanding flow and spirited presence on the song as she clearly states her goals "Now I'm crazy set/ To hit my mark no sweat/ A one way ticket to the tippy top I got, let's jet/With Pistol like aim, tell em I'ma hit off/ That definition is- in- my name N****** I'm in my zone" and diminishes the competition "…A Lotta buzz I hear, but I don't see 'em standing in my way/ Trafficking them chips to land, just where I want not where they may/ We 'bout to make history people, you cannot clear that cache…"

On the "Soke" Remix, 23-year-old Chisom and Burna Boy trade bars in three languages, as Chisom puts his unique spin on the hit record, switching effortlessly between rapping and singing in Igbo and English (complementing Burna Boy's Yoruba).
