(Album Review)-@neudaemusic "the past extended"

Neu Dae is a Hip Hop duo located in Madison, Wisconsin who are following up their debut, self titled album from last year with "the past extended". With incredibly clever lyricism provided by Neumy and the Boom Bap/ analog production of Evaridae, these gentlemen deliver a highly impressive piece of art with this release. Featuring sixteen tracks in total with guests appearances by Play Fair Cypher, Reconsiderate, Ox Elian, Leet Moteef, Duke Daeo, SkYy and Kodiak McMountain Lion, "the past extended" is a project for the true Hip Hop enthusiast that enjoys listening to music that takes time to soak in mentally. The production isn't overdone, yet in itself is refreshing to hear, unlike the typical cookie cutter music that's been made popular today.

 Put this record on repeat and be taken away to a world full of wordplay, well constructed instrumentals and sarcastic views of today's society. For those of you that aren't particularly fond of indulging in an entire album listening session, make sure to check for the album's standout cuts such as "back against the wall", "social MEdia" & "that feeling". Not designed for commercial radio airplay, "the past extended" is a great underground record that stays true to it's Hip Hop foundation. Stream & purchase the project from the Bandcamp player below.

@KrisLeshaun "Rest Aside" (Audio)

Elgin, Illinois emcee & member of Fly Live$ Kris Leshaun unexpectedly drops a straight headbanger titled "Rest Aside" that meshes classic Hip Hop bars with new school style delivery. The beat is riddled with bass and the hook's ASAP Rocky influenced sound mixed with the melodic background overdubs makes this something special. It may just be a coincidence but I believe I even heard Kris including his dad Maintain on 2:03 by embedding his stage name into the line, check it out below.

(New Audio)-@DaYunginWAZE & @Dmvmacguyver "Git Mo" Prod By Beats Maravich

Macguyver and Willie Waze have been known to leave a lasting impression with their music. Now these artists present to you a meeting of the minds. They have joined forces to present themselves as a group called "The Build". Their first collaborative single off the current mixtape entitled "Lumi Nation 1: Da Doubt is Fuel" is called “Git Mo”. This track portrays a gritty depiction of the D.C. metropolitan area, urban streets and lifestyle that raised them to this point. On this track Macguyver is repping for PG County County, Maryland. While Willie WAZE finds himself repping for the city of Alexandria, Virginia. The lyrics are raw and display a clear outline of rules to live by when struggling to survive in the inner city. The track was produced by Beats Maravich and is smooth and melodic, reminiscent of early Devin the Dude production favorites.

 "Git Mo" is currently available on SoundCloud. Follow  & @Dmvmacguyver on Twitter and LumiNation on SoundCloud for more hot tracks from this versatile duo, as well as plethora of other dope songs by talented artists such as Cormega and The Outlawz featured on the Lumi Nation mixtape.
