Neu Dae is a Hip Hop duo located in Madison, Wisconsin who are following up their debut, self titled album from last year with
"the past extended". With incredibly clever lyricism provided by Neumy and the Boom Bap/ analog production of Evaridae, these gentlemen deliver a highly impressive piece of art with this release. Featuring sixteen tracks in total with guests appearances by Play Fair Cypher, Reconsiderate, Ox Elian, Leet Moteef, Duke Daeo, SkYy and Kodiak McMountain Lion, "the past extended" is a project for the true Hip Hop enthusiast that enjoys listening to music that takes time to soak in mentally. The production isn't overdone, yet in itself is refreshing to hear, unlike the typical cookie cutter music that's been made popular today.
Put this record on repeat and be taken away to a world full of wordplay, well constructed instrumentals and sarcastic views of today's society.
