After creating a buzz with his first solo mixtape, a hip hop-blues fusion project Good Morning Blues, alongside legendary blues musician Wes Mackey, Cityreal took a break from music following the death of his mother from breast cancer. In late 2016, he dropped the video and single "Grow Op" that featured him collaborating with composer Todor Kobakov (Metric, Stars, k-os, Dan Mangan) and tackling issues tied to his drug addiction and other pressing social concerns in his hometown.

Rising rapper and producer Cityreal just premiered his latest video "See You In The Morning" on Noisey/VICE. The song which will appear on his forthcoming Lost In Vancouver album features Cityreal reminiscing on his past relationships while the illustrations of world renowned Vancouver artist iHeart forms the backdrop of some key scenes.

Cityreal has supported a large number of noteworthy hip hop acts on live tours and spot dates including Ghostface Killah, Big K.R.I.T, Three 6 Mafia, and Jazz Cartier, and is busy prepping Lost In Vancouver for a 2017 release.
