Jackson, Tennessee's DaTBoYZ3L put in some solid work all throughout 2016. He released his debuted album "Datboy" along with a slew of videos releases to accompany the project. Having collaborated with fellow Jackson natives Calvin Ross, CA$H, 2j and M.I.N.D., Z3L proved he has strong determination and a knack of creating catchy hits. Once again linking up with video director SoLo Visualz, they present the official video for the CA$H assisted "Ransom" single.

The video starts off with newsreel footage of the late/great Dr. Martin Luther King and rolls over into a quick intro where we find Z3L taking up multiple character roles. This also shows his acting abilities and provides a good laugh in parts of the visual. Thru the video, you'll quickly learn not to play games when it comes to DaTBoY's money. Portland rapper Mat Randol teams up with certified Gold producer of A$AP Ferg’s “Shabba” record, producer Snugsworth for their first collaborative EP, Libero. Deuce Ellis - 'Experiments in Electricity' Instrumental Album

 

Deuce Ellis announces his new self-produced album "An Electric Ride" by rolling out what he calls an open source instrumental project titled "Experiments in Electricity." Production for the entire concept began late August 2015, right after his girlfriend and creative partner Jenna's bday, months before the couple would move to Hawaii. An Electric Ride is a concept album telling the stories of passengers on a funky intergalactic train traveling the cosmos to arrive at the final destination in the Universes most exciting city "Electric City."

Deuce drew inspiration for the project from the work and ideas of Nicola Telsa and Joseph Campbell's "Hero With A Thousand Faces" which also inspired George Lucas' "Star Wars". #TheCult leader collaborated with Jenna's design firm TeethRatedR for the art direction of the project. With "Experiments in Electricity" Deuce aims to begin to paint the sonic picture to the world he's creating, while also inviting other MCs & artists to share and contribute their own unique visions.
