The release of Midnight Blues was originally planned to be released 8/31, but Rodd.D took to social media to express his remorse in the change of plans but we can expect a release date and feature announcements from the South Carolina artist soon.

Has It ever seemed like you were running away from your problems through means that were bound to make things worse? Austin, Texas native, K.J. Hines has had many ups and downs on his journey that have shaped him into the progressive-minded individual he has become. Being an avid artist, K.J. sought to express this issue and shed light on what to do so others would have a formula to follow. So he teamed up with his friend and singer, Ben Cina, and wrote the record "Run" for anyone who is going through the same issues. The video was directed by Austin based directors, ICLASS.

There is a twist to the plot of the video that you will have to watch through to the end to understand. When asked about the message behind the record and video, K.J. responded by stating, "It encourages you to run, run, run away from your problems, because when you run it releases endorphins in your brain which suppress pain. Montreal R&B singer Chaz DeFranco has been very busy these past 4 months. With his last two singles (“Better Off / New Girl” & “Train Wreck”) fairing quite well on both Soundcloud and iTunes, the Canadian crooner officially kicked off a new music campaign titled #songsunday on July 12th that will have it’s eighth and final entry released on August 30th.

 Which brings us to this week’s entry and fifth installment in the series and it’s by far his most personal release to date. The song is titled “Torreón” and what a back story it has. During his extensive travels to Mexico in his early twenties, Chaz developed a relationship with a woman by the name of Angela Del Río that ultimately ended on a sour note. Though some time has passed, the relationship has always weighed heavy on his heart.

 After reconnecting with Angela via social media and telephone and finding out about her becoming a Miss Mexico finalist, DeFranco hit the studio with producer Penacho and long-time collaborator and friend Bobby John to create an audio track that revolves around that past relationship. It's quite a powerful song to say the least, give it a listen below.

Lil Wayne #S4TW2 Tour W/ @djKailaTroy & @SplashCommitee

After all of the legal troubles and issues with his parent company, Cash Money, Lil Wayne decided to give his loyal fans and followers an intimate experience by performing smaller venues from Florida to California and promoting the release of "Sorry 4 The Wait 2." I had the pleasure of going on three tour dates with the Young Money team which made stops in, Biloxi, MS, Baton Rogue, LA, and Destin, FL. Each night was filled Wayne's greatest hits, special guests, and more. During these three nights I teamed up with Splash Commitee owner Dollah Dae and DJ Kaila Troy as we all reveled in the festivites night in and night out. The entire event was filmed by BPace Productions and features show footage of Wayne. Check out DJ Kaila Troy as she plays her sets during these nights. Next we are gearing up for the Lil Weezyana Festival in New Orleans August 28, 2015 which will feature the Hot Boyz reunion (minus Baby and B.G.)
